My Future
My interest in engineering had started during my middle school years, where I needed to figure out how to complete my community service hours. I focused a lot of extracurricular time at a bike repair shop, where I had a chance to experience what working was like. I liked fixing bikes and actually considered it as a career someday. I am still not sure what job I am looking to have for the future but I am hoping it is something in the field of engineering. Most of the classes I have taken at College of Alameda were automotive engineering.

After I decided what major I wanted to pursue, I began taking a couple classes of automotive engineering over the summer. I learned so much and I felt lucky to have these available classes at the local community college. What I learned from those  classes stuck with me through the rest of highschool. with my new found knowledge i was able to establish the building blocks to my future. I was very pleased to know that there is a strong community in the engineering field. i was able t students that could help me build a path of extending my education in this field. I am excited to go to college and find out much more about the engineering field and the opportunities waiting at my dorm room door. I especially hope to make great friends that share a similar passion for engineering. My best bet to find my calling is through thorough counseling and interning.
